About The Astraaurea Notes

The Astraaurea Notes has published since 2021. We write about living, self care, housemates and cultivation, with a bias toward advice that still holds up months after the novelty has worn off.

How we work

We buy what we test and we live with it before writing about it. Where a recommendation depends on circumstances, we say so rather than pretending a single answer fits everyone.

• We prefer the boring option when it is the correct one.
• We revisit older articles when the underlying advice changes.
• We say plainly when we have not tested something ourselves.
